The ECHOMAP UHD2 62sv pairs a 6-inch sunlight-readable touchscreen with a GT54-TM transducer, so it ships ready for sonar. The transducer handles traditional sonar along with ClearVü and SideVü imaging at once. For navigation it carries a built-in Worldwide Basemap and takes Navionics+ and Navionics Vision+ upgrades. Wi-Fi shares sonar data, waypoints and routes with compatible devices, and NMEA 2000 support lets it join the boat's network. LiveScope works with it, but that sonar unit is bought separately.
Our take
The GT54-TM transducer runs traditional sonar, ClearVü and SideVü together, so a single transducer feeds all three views the unit shows. LiveScope is a separate purchase, so plan for that unit if live video is the aim.
From our buying guide
What's in the box depends on the part number: Raymarine sells one screen display only, with charts, with a transducer, or with both. Not every chart card fits every plotter, either.
Check before you buy:
- The part number includes the charts and transducer you expect.
- It reads the charts you want, and you know how long their updates last, since many come with a one-year subscription.
- A touchscreen suits your helm, since Raymarine warns that prolonged rain or water wash can cause false touches.
