The ECHOMAP 64SV UHD2 is a 6 inch touchscreen chartplotter with built-in sonar, running at 800 x 480 pixels. It comes with a GT54UHD-TM transducer and carries SideVü, ClearVü and CHIRP sonar views. Preloaded mapping covers LakeVü g3 inland waters plus Garmin Navionics+ for U.S. coastal and Great Lakes areas. It has built-in Wi-Fi for the ActiveCaptain app, NMEA 2000 compatibility, and a microSD slot taking cards up to 32 GB.
Our take
The SideVü sonar means this 6 inch unit shows structure and fish off both sides of the hull, not only straight below. With the GT54UHD-TM transducer bundled, you get that scanning from one purchase, on a compact screen at 800 x 480 pixels.
From our buying guide
What's in the box depends on the part number: Raymarine sells one screen display only, with charts, with a transducer, or with both. Not every chart card fits every plotter, either.
Check before you buy:
- The part number includes the charts and transducer you expect.
- It reads the charts you want, and you know how long their updates last, since many come with a one-year subscription.
- A touchscreen suits your helm, since Raymarine warns that prolonged rain or water wash can cause false touches.
