The Rocna 4 kg (9 lb) is the all stainless steel version of the roll-bar and scoop style anchor, finished in mirror polish. It is made from tempered high tensile steel and carries a lifetime warranty against breakage or deformation. A roll-bar turns it to the right setting attitude, and the slotted attachment point takes the head of a shackle, so the largest shackle that fits the chain can go straight on. The range has RINA certification for Super High Holding Power.

The Coast Guard does not regulate anchors, so no anchor carries its approval. Each maker sizes on its own assumptions, so a size on one chart does not translate to another.
Check before you buy:
- You know what wind the maker's chart assumes. Rocna's assumes 50 knots and Fortress's 30 knots.
- It fits your bow, since makers say some designs fit bow rollers, bow pulpits or bowsprits better.
