The Harken 226 is a double Micro block, 22 mm in size. Micro blocks are small and light, and they run freely. The side plates are stainless steel and the bearings are Delrin balls. The shackle pin is 3/16 inch in diameter. Harken lists it for cunninghams, outhauls, vangs, traveler controls and barberhaulers, among other light control jobs.

Check before you buy:
- A ratchet block is rated for the full sheet load.
- Any becket's load limit suits the job, since a becket can be rated below the block itself.
- A soft-attach block will be looked after, since Harken warns soft attachments are prone to wear and recommends them only for regularly maintained race boats.
