The Polyform HTM-2 is a center tube fender from the HTM Series, measuring 8.5 inches in diameter and 20.5 inches long, finished in lime. It is built with an even wall thickness and molded-in ribs, and the tube ends are reinforced. Polyform designs it for medium duty work, covering permanent moorings that are protected as well as unprotected ones. It is inflated through Polyform's own valve.
Our take
The molded-in ribs on the HTM-2 give it extra abrasion resistance, which counts when a fender sits against a dock or piling and rubs with every swell. It is rated medium duty, so size up for heavy loads.

Polyform says to use at least three fenders when docking, and Taylor Made's rule of thumb is one for every 10 ft of waterline per side. Both makers hedge their size charts, so allow for your boat and where you moor.
