This is the Mustang MJ6214 high visibility flotation bomber jacket in size X-Large. It is rated USCG Type III and ANSI Class 2, and closed-cell foam gives it both flotation and insulation in the water. Neoprene wrist closures help in foul weather, the front pockets are fleece-lined, and an internal waist belt stops the jacket riding up. Reflective tape gives ANSI 107-2004 Class 3 compliance. The hood is a separate attachment.
Our take
Neoprene wrist closures and an internal waist belt that reduces ride-up point to a jacket meant for working on deck in foul weather. The Type III rating and closed-cell foam give flotation and in-water insulation, but the hood is a separate attachment.
