The Bushnell A3 10x32 is a centre-focus binocular with 10x magnification and 32 mm objective lenses. Its field of view is 312 ft at 1000 yd, which works out to 103.6 m at 1000 m. The body is nitrogen filled, so it is waterproof and resists internal fogging. Focus is by a central wheel with a slip-resistant grip. The binoculars weigh 18.5 oz and focus as close as 9.8 ft.
Our take
The nitrogen-filled body is the useful part on deck: it is sealed against water and internal fogging, so spray and a cold-to-warm swing in temperature should not cloud the view. The slip-resistant focus wheel is made to work with wet or gloved hands.
