The ProSportHD is an on-board waterproof battery charger rated at 20 amps with two banks. It runs a fully automatic five-stage cycle, including a monthly recondition while the boat is in storage, and offers selectable profiles for flooded, AGM and GEL batteries. It takes 120V AC and delivers 12/24V DC. It measures 7.9 x 12.8 x 2.9 inches and weighs 7.2 lbs. It is pre-wired with 6 foot AC and DC cables, carries ignition protection, is certified to Marine UL 1236, and has a 3 year warranty.
Our take
The Distributed-On-Demand design sends all 20 amps to whichever battery needs it, so two banks share one charger without a fixed split. At 7.2 lbs and with ignition protection and Marine UL 1236 certification, it is easy to mount and sensible near fuel.
