The Jabsco Quiet Flush E2 raw water version is an electric marine toilet for 12V DC systems. It flushes with sea, river or lake water through a Par-Max 3 rinse pump rated at 3 GPM, with a 40 mesh strainer in the line. It has a regular bowl measuring 14.4 x 14.8 x 18.9 inches. Eco mode uses only 1 litre per flush. The base rotates to the left, right or rear, and the discharge pump can be released without tools for servicing.
Our take
The C-Clip release lets the discharge pump assembly come off the toilet base without tools, which keeps servicing simple. This version runs on 12V DC and flushes with raw water, with eco mode holding each flush to 1 litre.

A vessel with installed toilet facilities must have an operable marine sanitation device that is labeled or certified. EPA says untreated sewage may not be discharged within three miles from shore, and in a No Discharge Zone treated sewage may not be either.
Check before you buy:
- You have what it needs, since heads may call for 12-volt power, through-hulls and seacocks, or a separate vacuum source.
- It fits the compartment, since Jabsco says an electric toilet needs more space at the rear than a manual one.
- If it could sit below the waterline, you'll fit a vented loop as the maker specifies, since Jabsco warns the vent, not the loop, is what stops the siphon.
