The Xantrex TRUECHARGE3 is a 24V battery charger with 30A of output and three DC output connections, one for each of three banks. It works with gel, flooded, AGM and lithium (LiFePO4) batteries. It accepts 90–265 Vac at 47–63 Hz. The housing is drip-proof and the unit weighs 4.5 kg. Xantrex recommends a battery bank of at least 60 Ah.
Our take
Three DC outputs on one 30A, 24V charger let a single unit serve three banks, and it covers gel, flooded, AGM and LiFePO4 chemistries. Note the recommended minimum bank of 60 Ah, and that parallel stacking needs a remote panel.

NMMA says charging sources must meet the charging profile the battery maker recommends. A charger's presets are its own maker's, not the battery's, so set it from the battery maker's figures.
Check before you buy:
- It can follow your battery's profile, since not every charger can follow a lithium maker's.
- Its output suits your bank. ProMariner recommends about 10 percent of the batteries' total amp-hour capacity, with one charger output for each battery.
- It suits how you'll use it, since ProMariner says its waterproof chargers are for batteries not in use while charging.
