The Victron VE.Direct TX digital output cable works with BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT chargers. It takes the TX output from the charger's VE.Direct connector and puts it to use outside the charger. In lighting systems it lets you dim lamps when needed. On larger chargers, from the MPPT 100/30 up, that have no load output, it adds one, switching a load on or off through a battery protect device or solid state relay.

Because it taps the TX output of a charger's VE.Direct connector, a larger MPPT model with no load output can still switch a load or dim lighting through this cable.
