The Victron Smart IP43 Charger 12/50 (1+1) is a 12 V battery charger with a nominal 50 A output and one fully rated charge output. It uses an adaptive 6-stage charge algorithm and has a low current 4 A starter battery output. The enclosure has an IP43 protection category. Output is fully rated up to 40 °C and derates linearly by 20 percent between 40 and 60 °C.

Output is fully rated only up to 40 °C, then derates linearly by 20 percent toward 60 °C, so in a hot compartment the 50 A nominal figure drops. The separate 4 A starter output lets a second battery be topped up without a second charger.
