This is the 30 m version of Victron's RJ12 UTP cable, the longest in a range that starts at 0.3 m. It links the shunt of a BMV battery monitor with its display unit. A standard RJ12 cable already comes with a BMV monitor, so this one is a replacement for when the supplied cable is the wrong length.
Our take
At 30 m this is the top of a range that begins at 0.3 m, so the shunt and the display can sit a long way apart. It is a swap-in for the cable that comes with a BMV, worth having when that one falls short.
