It includes a temperature sensor, weighs 3.8 kg and has an IP21 enclosure.
Our take
The 100 to 400 Ah recommended battery range tells you what bank size this charger is meant to feed with its 30 A output. The IP21 enclosure rating means it should be mounted somewhere sheltered from spray.
From our buying guide
NMMA says charging sources must meet the charging profile the battery maker recommends. A charger's presets are its own maker's, not the battery's, so set it from the battery maker's figures.
Check before you buy:
- It can follow your battery's profile, since not every charger can follow a lithium maker's.
- Its output suits your bank. ProMariner recommends about 10 percent of the batteries' total amp-hour capacity, with one charger output for each battery.
- It suits how you'll use it, since ProMariner says its waterproof chargers are for batteries not in use while charging.
