This is a remote cable made for Victron's Orion-Tr Isolated DC-DC Chargers. On those chargers the on/off input for remote control takes its reference from the primary battery, such as a starter battery. The cable is for installations where the remote on/off signal should instead be referenced to the secondary battery, for example a lithium battery with a BMS.

This cable has one job: moving the remote on/off reference from the primary battery to the secondary battery on Orion-Tr Isolated chargers. That makes it relevant when the secondary side is a lithium battery with a BMS.
