The MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-50 is a 120 V inverter/charger for a 12 V battery bank. It gives 2,400 W continuous at 25°C, 3,000 VA with a nonlinear load, and a peak rating of 5,500 W. Our take
A charge current of up to 120 A puts a lot into a 12 V bank, but that figure is stated for 25°C ambient, and the 50 A AC input limit caps what the unit can draw from shore or a generator. Inverter output also falls to 1,700 W at 65°C.
