The Victron MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-50 is an inverter/charger for a 12 V battery system. It is rated 3,000 VA continuous and can deliver a peak of 5,500 W. Continuous inverter output is 2,400 W at 25 °C, falling to 2,200 W at 40 °C. The built-in charger gives up to 120 A, and the transfer switch is rated 50 A. It has two AC outputs.
Our take
Continuous inverter output is 2,400 W at 25 °C but only 1,700 W at 65 °C, so a hot compartment gives up a good part of its capacity. The 50 A transfer switch also sets the AC current it can pass through.
