The MultiPlus Compact 24/2000/50-50 is a combined inverter and charger for a 24 V battery bank. It is rated for 1,600 W continuous at 25°C and 2,000 VA on nonlinear loads, with a 4,000 W peak. The charger delivers up to 50 A and the transfer switch is rated for 50 A. Continuous output falls to 1,100 W at 65°C, and the enclosure carries an IP21 rating.
Our take
The 4,000 W peak rating covers short surges well above the 1,600 W continuous figure, but sustained loads should stay near 1,600 W, and lower still in a hot compartment where the rating falls to 1,100 W.
