Our take
This is a 24 V charger with 16 A of nominal current and a recommended bank of 45 to 150 Ah, so it is sized for smaller 24 V banks, and its 3 outputs can serve several batteries. Output falls to approximately 80% of nominal at 50°C.
From our buying guide
NMMA says charging sources must meet the charging profile the battery maker recommends. A charger's presets are its own maker's, not the battery's, so set it from the battery maker's figures.
Check before you buy:
- It can follow your battery's profile, since not every charger can follow a lithium maker's.
- Its output suits your bank. ProMariner recommends about 10 percent of the batteries' total amp-hour capacity, with one charger output for each battery.
- It suits how you'll use it, since ProMariner says its waterproof chargers are for batteries not in use while charging.
