- 2P with 20 screws
This Victron busbar is rated for 150 A and 70 V DC, in a 2P layout with 20 screw connections under a cover. Busbars like it give high current distribution and connection points for batteries and DC equipment. The bars are tin plated copper, 2.4mm x 19mm, and the cover is polycarbonate. The base carries a UL 94 V-0 fire rating, and the whole unit is 232 mm wide.
Our take
The 150 A and 70 V DC ratings set this busbar's limits: it handles loads up to 150 A and nothing above 70 V. With 20 screws along a 232 mm unit, it gives many separate connection points.
From our buying guide
On a boat subpart I covers, each ungrounded output conductor from a battery needs a manually reset, trip-free circuit breaker or fuse within 72 inches of the battery.
Check before you buy:
- On a boat subpart I covers, a continuously energized ungrounded terminal needs a boot, nipple, cap, cover or shield.
- Ignition protection on a charger or switch is the maker's statement, so read what it says and which standard it names.
