The Victron Energy BlueSolar PWM-LCD&USB 12/24V-20A is a PWM solar charge controller with an LCD and two USB ports. It detects 12 V or 24 V batteries automatically and has a rated charge current of 20 A. Absorption is set at 14.4 V / 28.8 V and float at 13.7 V / 27.4 V. The load output offers manual control, low voltage disconnect and a timer. Screw terminals take 6 mm² (10 AWG) wire, and the enclosure carries an IP20 rating.
Our take
The 20 A rated charge current with automatic 12 V or 24 V battery detection lets one unit serve either bank voltage. It lists no temperature compensation and the enclosure is only IP20, so it needs a dry mounting spot.
