The BlueSolar MPPT 75/10 is a Victron MPPT solar charge controller rated for a 10 A charge current, with a maximum PV open circuit voltage of 75 V. Its peak efficiency is 98 %. Nominal PV power is 145 W on a 12 V battery and 290 W on 24 V. It has a single tracker and a VE.Direct data port, and Bluetooth is not built in.
Our take
With 145 W of nominal PV power at 12 V and 290 W at 24 V, the array this controller can use is capped at those figures, and one tracker means all panels share a single input. Bluetooth is not built in, so a dongle is needed for phone access.
From our buying guide
NMMA says charging sources must meet the charging profile the battery maker recommends. A charger's presets are its own maker's, so set it from the battery maker's figures.
Check before you buy:
- It can follow your battery's profile, since not every charger can follow a lithium maker's.
- On a boat subpart I covers, each ungrounded output conductor from a battery needs a manually reset, trip-free circuit breaker or fuse within 72 inches of the battery.
