The Blue Smart IP67 Charger 12/25 is a single-output 12V battery charger rated at 25A, running from 100-135V AC. The body is cast aluminium with the electronics moulded in resin, so it is sealed against water, oil and dirt, and it is ignition protected. Bluetooth is built in, so you can watch voltage and current, change settings and update the charger from a phone. It handles LiFePO4 as well as lead-acid, has a storage mode that drops float to 13.2V on a 12V battery, and can also act as a plain DC power supply. It weighs 2.4 kg.
Our take
The IP67 rating and resin-filled aluminium case mean this charger can live in a damp bilge or engine space without a separate enclosure. Ignition protection adds to that, and the 13.2V storage float is gentle on a battery left idle between trips.

NMMA says charging sources must meet the charging profile the battery maker recommends. A charger's presets are its own maker's, not the battery's, so set it from the battery maker's figures.
Check before you buy:
- It can follow your battery's profile, since not every charger can follow a lithium maker's.
- Its output suits your bank. ProMariner recommends about 10 percent of the batteries' total amp-hour capacity, with one charger output for each battery.
