This is a rubber bumper from Victron Energy, made for the Blue Smart IP65 charger in its 12/10, 12/15 and 24/8 versions. Its job is to protect the charger from knocks and bangs, on top of the protection against dust and water spray the charger already has. The bumper includes an easy-carry handle, so the charger is simpler to pick up and move. Victron says it extends the life of the charger. A second size exists for the 12/25 and 24/13 chargers, so match the size to your charger model.

The bumper's sizing is specific: it covers the 12/10, 12/15 and 24/8 chargers, so owners of a 12/25 or 24/13 need the other size. Within that range, the built-in easy-carry handle gives you something to lift the charger by, alongside the protection from knocks.
