This is the Victron 12V 110Ah AGM Deep Cycle battery, a sealed valve regulated lead acid unit. Capacity is 110 Ah at the 20 hour rate, with 500 A cold cranking amps. It has flange terminals with M8 bolts and weighs 32 kg. Design life is 600 cycles at 50% discharge and 400 cycles at 80%, with a float life of 7-10 years at 20°C.
Our take
The cycle rating falls from 600 cycles at 50% discharge to 400 cycles at 80%, so how deep the bank is drawn down directly sets how many cycles it gives. At 32 kg it is also a heavy block to place.
From our buying guide
A starting battery delivers a short burst of strong power, a deep-cycle battery a low, steady level for longer, and a dual-purpose battery a balance of the two. Buy for the job it will do.
Check before you buy:
- You've measured the tray against the maker's real dimensions, since a BCI group gives maximum sizes and some batteries sold as a drop-in run longer.
- You're comparing the same rating. Cold cranking amps are tested at 0°F and cranking amps at 32°F, so the second number is higher.
- If it's lithium, the maker says whether it may start an engine, and NMMA advises contacting your boat's manufacturer or a certified technician before replacing lead-acid.
