The Raymarine Axiom+ 9 is a display-only multifunction chartplotter with a 9.0 inch IPS screen. It runs LightHouse 3, has a 10 Hz GPS/GNSS receiver, and adds built-in Wi-Fi for streaming and control from a phone or tablet. It connects over Raynet Ethernet and NMEA2000, and it is ready for Quantum CHIRP radar. Surface and trunnion mounting kits, hardware and a power/data cable come in the box.
Our take
Raynet Ethernet and NMEA2000 connections let this 9 inch Axiom+ join other Axiom displays and instruments on one network, and its Quantum CHIRP radar readiness means radar can be added later.
From our buying guide
What's in the box depends on the part number: Raymarine sells one screen display only, with charts, with a transducer, or with both. Not every chart card fits every plotter, either.
Check before you buy:
- The part number includes the charts and transducer you expect.
- It reads the charts you want, and you know how long their updates last, since many come with a one-year subscription.
- A touchscreen suits your helm, since Raymarine warns that prolonged rain or water wash can cause false touches.
