The Axiom+ RV in its 12 inch size is a touch-controlled chartplotter with sonar built in. The sonar offers CHIRP, DownVision, SideVision and RealVision 3D channels, and this version ships with Navionics+ charts for North America. The built-in sonar is 600W at 50 kHz and 200 kHz, and the screen is rated to 1,800 nits. It joins other gear over Raynet Ethernet and NMEA 2000, and it has Wi-Fi for a phone or tablet. The RV-100 transducer is not part of this package.
Our take
The 1,800 nit screen is the number to look at for a helm in open sun, where a dim display gets washed out. The 600W sonar is built in, but the RV-100 transducer is not included, so the sonar side is incomplete as supplied.
