The Raritan P102 is a manual marine toilet in the PH Superflush range, with a household size bowl and a slow close seat. It uses a dual action piston pump that discharges as it draws water in, fitted with a full size joker valve to reduce clogging. An air vent on the front lets you flush without bringing in more water, and the handle is telescopic. The pump can go on the right or left of the bowl, and the toilet can be upgraded to electric operation later.

The front air vent lets you pump the bowl out without drawing in extra water, which helps when you need to empty it in heavy seas. The full-size joker valve is there to cut clogging, so the flush keeps working.

A vessel with installed toilet facilities must have an operable marine sanitation device that is labeled or certified. EPA says untreated sewage may not be discharged within three miles from shore, and in a No Discharge Zone treated sewage may not be either.
Check before you buy:
- You have what it needs, since heads may call for 12-volt power, through-hulls and seacocks, or a separate vacuum source.
- It fits the compartment, since Jabsco says an electric toilet needs more space at the rear than a manual one.
- If it could sit below the waterline, you'll fit a vented loop as the maker specifies, since Jabsco warns the vent, not the loop, is what stops the siphon.
