This is a Perko delta pole light on a 48 inch pole. It ships with two globes, one reduced glare and one full output, so the light can be set up either way. Two collars, a large threaded one and a locking one, fit Perko 2-pin bases 1045, 1046, 1047, 1048, 1059 and 1060. The contacts are gold plated and there are two screw positions for different bases. It is USCG certified for power driven vessels under 20 meters (65.6 ft).

The pair of globes is the practical feature here: reduced glare for sitting at anchor near the helm, full output when you want maximum visibility. The certification covers power vessels under 20 m only, so a sailboat needs a different light.
