This is a foam-filled adult life vest in the oversize size, in blue, and USCG approved as a Type III PFD. The shell is nylon with a poly-twill inner, and the open-sided cut is held in place by adjustable belts and a chest strap. Flotation comes from lightweight, durable foam. The same vest is also offered as a 4 pack.
Our take
As a Type III with open-sided styling, this vest leaves the sides free, and the adjustable belts and chest strap are there to stop it riding up. Its flotation is foam, so it needs no inflation or rearming.
