The NOCO GENPRO10X4 is a four-bank onboard charger for 12-volt batteries, with 10 A per bank for 40 A in total and a rated output of 600 W. Each bank is controlled on its own, with modes for standard 12V, AGM, lithium and a repair mode. It is sealed to IP68 and carries an integrated thermal sensor that adjusts the charge to ambient temperature. It can recover batteries down to 1 volt, with a force mode for those at zero. It measures 11.3 x 8.3 x 2.8 inches and weighs 15.5 lbs.
Our take
Four independent 10 A banks, each with its own chemistry mode, mean a start battery, house bank and a lithium bank can each be charged correctly from one unit. The IP68 sealing also lets it live in a damp locker.

NMMA says charging sources must meet the charging profile the battery maker recommends. A charger's presets are its own maker's, not the battery's, so set it from the battery maker's figures.
Check before you buy:
- It can follow your battery's profile, since not every charger can follow a lithium maker's.
- Its output suits your bank. ProMariner recommends about 10 percent of the batteries' total amp-hour capacity, with one charger output for each battery.
- It suits how you'll use it, since ProMariner says its waterproof chargers are for batteries not in use while charging.
