The NOCO Genius 2X4 is a four-bank smart charger and maintainer for 6-volt and 12-volt batteries. It handles flooded, gel, AGM and maintenance-free lead-acid types as well as lithium-ion, and it also works as a desulfator. Each bank delivers 2 amps, for 8 amps total and 120 watts of output power. A thermal sensor adjusts the charge for ambient temperature, and it can recover batteries down to 1 volt, or down to zero volts using force mode. The case measures 5.7 x 9.4 x 2.3 inches and weighs 3.9 lbs.
Our take
Four separate 2-amp banks means a start battery, a house bank and a couple of small batteries can each be topped up independently from one unit. At 2 amps per bank and a 40Ah rating, it is a maintainer for smaller batteries, not a fast charger for a big bank.
