This is a concealed single mini trumpet air horn from Marinco. It arrives with its compressor, air tubing, fittings and hardware, though the grill is a separate part. The tone is centred on 630 Hz, give or take 15 Hz, and the compressor draws up to 20 amps at 12 volts. The compressor measures 2-5/8 inches in diameter by 5 inches long, and the horn needs a concealed space 13 inches high, 5 wide and 3-3/4 deep.
Our take
The 20 amp maximum draw at 12 volts is the number to plan the wiring around. The trumpet needs a 13 by 5 by 3-3/4 inch space, and the grill is a separate part, so allow for that in the opening.

A boat of 12 m or more must have a whistle, and one of 20 m or more a bell as well. Under 12 m it need not carry them, but must have some other means of making an efficient sound signal.
