The Marinco 11058 is a concealed dual trumpet air horn kit with solid brass construction. It is rated 121 dB at 1 m, with fundamental frequencies of 375 and 315 Hz. The kit includes the compressor, air tubing, fittings and hardware. The compressor measures 2-5/8 inches across and 5 inches long and draws up to 20 amps at 12 volts. The horns need 10 by 18-1/2 by 3-3/4 inches of internal space, and a grill has to be added separately.
Our take
The compressor draws up to 20 amps at 12 volts, so the supply to it has to carry that load. The two horns also want an internal space of 10 by 18-1/2 by 3-3/4 inches, and the grill is a separate item.

A boat of 12 m or more must have a whistle, and one of 20 m or more a bell as well. Under 12 m it need not carry them, but must have some other means of making an efficient sound signal.
