This is a Lewmar Synchro Block with a 50 mm sheave and a swivel head. It takes line up to 3/8 inch (10 mm) and has a safe working load of 990 lbs (450 kg). It weighs 2.4 oz (67 g). A stainless steel strap carries the load, and stiff glass fibre reinforced cheeks keep lines from wedging. The sliding swivel locks without tools.
