This is the Johnson Aqua Jet wash down pump, rated 3.5 GPM at 41 psi on 12 volts DC. It is a five-chamber diaphragm pump described as quiet and free of pulsation, and it primes itself. An inline strainer and a trigger nozzle come with it, and you can choose quick-connect hose or threaded connectors.

Size a freshwater pump by the outlets that must run at once. Jabsco's rule of thumb is 1 GPM per outlet, and the listed flow is open flow, which falls as pressure rises.
Check before you buy:
- The data sheet shows flow at pressure. One Shurflo gives 4.0 GPM at 0 psi and 2.0 GPM at 40 psi.
- You have an inlet strainer, which Jabsco says is required in every freshwater pump installation.
- An accumulator suits the pump. Jabsco says one cuts cycling on a pressure-switch system, and not to use its accumulators with variable-speed pumps.
