This is Jabsco's 12V Lite Flush electric toilet with the foot-pad flush controller. It has a compact body, a rotatable seat and a china bowl, and you can leave the bowl wet or dry after use. An internal macerator pump discharges up to 5 ft above the base of the toilet, through a 1-1/2 inch hose. The rinse pump inlet takes a 3/4 inch hose.
Our take
The macerator pump lifts discharge up to 5 ft above the base of the toilet, so the outlet run has to stay inside that height. Flushing is a one-touch press and release on the foot pad, and the maker calls the operation virtually silent.

A vessel with installed toilet facilities must have an operable marine sanitation device that is labeled or certified. EPA says untreated sewage may not be discharged within three miles from shore, and in a No Discharge Zone treated sewage may not be either.
Check before you buy:
- You have what it needs, since heads may call for 12-volt power, through-hulls and seacocks, or a separate vacuum source.
- It fits the compartment, since Jabsco says an electric toilet needs more space at the rear than a manual one.
- If it could sit below the waterline, you'll fit a vented loop as the maker specifies, since Jabsco warns the vent, not the loop, is what stops the siphon.
