The Hella NaviLED is a black, clear-lens pair of port and starboard lamps with 2 NM visibility. Together they use less than 2 watts, and they run on 9-32V DC. Hella says they need under 10% of the power of a bulb lamp of the same visible distance. Each lamp is fully sealed and IP67 certified, and with no filament inside there is nothing to break from shock or vibration.
Our take
At under 2 watts for the pair, the NaviLED lamps draw a small fraction of what bulb lamps of the same visible distance need, which Hella puts below 10 percent. With no filament inside, shock and vibration have nothing to snap.
