The Hella NaviLED 360 is a fold down all-round navigation light on a 12 inch black pedestal, with 2 NM visibility. It is pre-wired with 1.5m of twin core marine cable. It runs on multivolt 9 to 33V DC, draws under 1W, and is completely sealed to IP 67. The series is listed against ABYC C-5 and USCG, among other standards.
Our take
The NaviLED 360 draws under 1W and is completely sealed to IP 67, so it asks little of the supply and is closed against water. The 12 inch pedestal folds down, and the light shows 2 NM all round.
From our buying guide
The lights a boat must show depend on its length and how it's being driven. A sailboat under power is a power-driven vessel and shows power-driven lights.
Check before you buy:
- The label gives its visibility in nautical miles, and that range meets the minimum for your boat's length.
- The maker rates it for boats of your length.
- A replacement LED is certified with the fixture it's going into, since the Coast Guard warns that replacement lighting may not meet the rules.
