The ECHOMAP Ultra 2 126sv is a Garmin chartplotter and fishfinder with a 12 inch touchscreen at 1280 x 800 pixels. It carries Navionics+ mapping, multi-band GPS, and CHIRP traditional sonar with ClearVü and SideVü scanning. The unit joins an NMEA 2000 network for heading sensors and autopilots, and can link wirelessly to a Force trolling motor. It runs on 9 to 18 V DC.
Our take
The 12 inch touchscreen at 1280 x 800 pixels is a large, sunlight-readable panel on a plotter that also does fishfinding. Its NMEA 2000 connection lets it talk to heading sensors and autopilots on the boat's network, so the helm picture can reach beyond the screen itself.
From our buying guide
What's in the box depends on the part number: Raymarine sells one screen display only, with charts, with a transducer, or with both. Not every chart card fits every plotter, either.
Check before you buy:
- The part number includes the charts and transducer you expect.
- It reads the charts you want, and you know how long their updates last, since many come with a one-year subscription.
- A touchscreen suits your helm, since Raymarine warns that prolonged rain or water wash can cause false touches.
