The Bushnell H2O is an 8x42 Porro prism binocular in dark blue. The body is O-ring sealed and nitrogen purged, which is how it is made waterproof and fogproof. The prisms are BaK-4 and the optics are multi-coated. A large centre-focus knob handles focusing, and the eyecups twist up. A rubber armor coat takes knocks and gives you something firm to hold.
Our take
O-ring sealing and a nitrogen purge give the H2O its 100% waterproof rating and fog-free build, so water and internal fogging are both dealt with in the construction. The rubber armor also takes some of the shock and gives a firm hold.
