- Rated vessel length
- Up to 65.6 ft (20 m)
This is a stowable all-around light, 30 inches long, giving 360° illumination over a 2-mile range. The maker rates it for boats up to 65.6 feet (20m). A swivel cover protects the base socket when the light is stowed, and the base extends just 3 inches below deck. It includes a base and a 9-watt wedge base lamp, with three countersunk holes for #10 fasteners.
Our take
The swivel cover over the base socket and a base reaching just 3 inches below deck mean the light can be stowed away and the deck left with only a covered socket. Range is 2 miles, rated for boats up to 65.6 feet.
From our buying guide
The lights a boat must show depend on its length and how it's being driven. A sailboat under power is a power-driven vessel and shows power-driven lights.
Check before you buy:
- The label gives its visibility in nautical miles, and that range meets the minimum for your boat's length.
- The maker rates it for boats of your length.
- A replacement LED is certified with the fixture it's going into, since the Coast Guard warns that replacement lighting may not meet the rules.
