Our take
A vertical mount, round housing and green LED define this light, and the maker lists it for boats up to 65 ft (20m). The IP Rating 67 water resistance and 50,000+ hour LED life are its stated protection against a wet, exposed position.
From our buying guide
The lights a boat must show depend on its length and how it's being driven. A sailboat under power is a power-driven vessel and shows power-driven lights.
Check before you buy:
- The label gives its visibility in nautical miles, and that range meets the minimum for your boat's length.
- The maker rates it for boats of your length.
- A replacement LED is certified with the fixture it's going into, since the Coast Guard warns that replacement lighting may not meet the rules.
