The Attwood 5530-54A7 is a 54 inch LED all-round light. It shows a 360 degree light with two miles of visibility and is rated for boats up to 39.4 ft (12 m). It draws only 3 watts at 12 VDC and works across a 10.5 to 14.4 VDC range. The head tilts 15 degrees fore and aft to match the base angle, it fits Attwood and Perko plug-in bases, and the electronics are fully sealed.
Our take
At 3 watts on 12 VDC, this light barely registers on the battery, which counts on a boat left at anchor overnight. The two-mile, 360 degree rating and the 39.4 ft vessel limit mean it covers smaller boats, not larger ones.
