This is an Attwood all-round navigation light on a 24 inch aluminum pole with a 2-pin standard fitting. It gives 360 degree illumination and is intended for boats up to 39.4 ft (12 m) in length. An 8-watt wedge-base lamp is included. The standard 2-pin pole fits bases 911370, 911445, 911443, 911339 and 911490, so check your existing base number before choosing it.
Our take
The 2-pin standard pole fits only a short list of Attwood bases, 911370, 911445, 911443, 911339 and 911490, so read the number on your existing base first. The included 8-watt lamp means it is usable once mounted, on boats up to 12 m.
From our buying guide
The lights a boat must show depend on its length and how it's being driven. A sailboat under power is a power-driven vessel and shows power-driven lights.
Check before you buy:
- The label gives its visibility in nautical miles, and that range meets the minimum for your boat's length.
- The maker rates it for boats of your length.
- A replacement LED is certified with the fixture it's going into, since the Coast Guard warns that replacement lighting may not meet the rules.
