The 1-mile visibility rating for boats up to 39.4 feet is the scope of this green starboard light. It comes with its 8-watt lamp, but the three #6 fasteners that fix it are not included, so have them ready.
From our buying guide
The lights a boat must show depend on its length and how it's being driven. A sailboat under power is a power-driven vessel and shows power-driven lights.
Check before you buy:
- The label gives its visibility in nautical miles, and that range meets the minimum for your boat's length.
- The maker rates it for boats of your length.
- A replacement LED is certified with the fixture it's going into, since the Coast Guard warns that replacement lighting may not meet the rules.
