Specifications
- Rated vessel length
- Up to 65.6 ft (20 m)
This is an Attwood removable pole light with an aluminum pole that telescopes from 26 to 42 inches. It gives 360 degree visibility out to two miles and is rated for boats up to 65.6 ft (20 m). It lifts out of any Attwood pole light base, so it can be stowed when you are not using it. A 12-watt lamp is included.
Our take
The telescoping aluminum pole, 26 to 42 inches, is the point here: it collapses for stowage and lifts out of any Attwood pole light base. With 360 degrees visible at two miles, it works as a removable all-round light for a boat up to 65.6 ft.
From our buying guide
The lights a boat must show depend on its length and how it's being driven. A sailboat under power is a power-driven vessel and shows power-driven lights.
Check before you buy:
- The label gives its visibility in nautical miles, and that range meets the minimum for your boat's length.
- The maker rates it for boats of your length.
- A replacement LED is certified with the fixture it's going into, since the Coast Guard warns that replacement lighting may not meet the rules.
