We run one of these aboard. It is a Chinese heater and we are not going to pretend otherwise — but it is surprisingly good for the money, and the real argument for it is that if it does fail you replace it without it hurting. A Webasto or Eberspächer is the better unit. Know what you are buying: VEVOR's manual gives only vehicle installation positions and has no boat section, and we found no VEVOR marine installation instructions. Webasto's marine manuals and Eberspächer UK's 2006 marine guide (for its older Airtronic heaters) forbid putting a heater or its exhaust in the accommodation, and the Coast Guard advises fitting CO alarms inside the boat.
