A wired masthead wind sensor: a vane and anemometer with a built-in gyro, accelerometer and magnetometer. Raymarine says these correct for pitch and roll and improve true wind accuracy, but gives no figure. This is the short-arm version with a 30 m mast cable, and the box includes Raymarine's own gateway and a SeaTalkng-to-DeviceNet adaptor. Raymarine's i70 installation instructions say the display also needs speed through water from a speed transducer and heading from a heading sensor to show true wind.
