Raymarine pitches the Axiom+ RV at inshore and coastal fishing boats, and its built-in sonar has four channels: CHIRP, DownVision, SideVision and RealVision 3D. Raymarine sells it four ways: display only, with its own LightHouse Charts card, with the RV-100 transducer, or with both. This is the E70637, which Raymarine sells as the display alone, with no transducer or chart card, so check the part number and box contents before you buy. Its laylines need the plotter set to Sailing, plus wind, speed-through-water, GNSS and heading data.
Our take
Buy this if you fish inshore or along the coast and want one screen for chartplotting and sonar. The built-in 600 W sonar covers CHIRP and RealVision 3D, and Raymarine says touch stays accurate on wet screens. The catch is that E70637 is display only, so sonar needs a transducer added. The 1280 x 720 screen is modest, and laylines need wind, speed and heading data on the network.
